    be honest about how important and satisfying for both me and the patient.

    compassion, time, patience, and most importantly good at what you do, ie..assessing and following up to give quality of life....they are so grateful as i am for the experience.

    have empathy and compassion, be dedicated to what you do...for the education, get your prereqisties out of the way first, dont overload so you cant absorb what makes a good nurse.....

    no, self employed, spoke to each patient and let them decide if they wanted me to provide quality of life in their later years...

    college training, graduated at the top of my class, loved it! it was what i wanted to do...

    college was sufficient, but beginning in the field, really taught me more, people are all different and you have to think on your feet stat....

    there is such a need for nurses due to the baby boomers, it is very, very satisfying if one does it because it is what make them happy and productive instead of focusing on the money alone
