Please describe a typical workday for you in your current job:

5am to 6am
6am to 7am
7am to 8am From 7-9 am I am setting our bi-weekly sale. This consists of taking down all old signs and putting up new ones. I have to check each section to make sure signs go up in the correct areas and that I am not miss-signing an area.
8am to 9am Again, from 7-9 am I am setting our bi-weekly sale. This consists of taking down all old signs and putting up new ones. I have to check each section to make sure signs go up in the correct areas and that I am not miss-signing an area.
9am to 10am I take a short break before we open the store. I do a quick walk through to make sure the store is clean and shopable.
10am to 11am Business is usually slow in the morning so I usually stock or do various tasks that need to be done for the week. This includes moving stock or price changes (up, down or clearance).
11am to 12pm Again, business is usually slow in the morning so I usually stock or do various tasks that need to be done for the week. This includes moving stock or price changes (up, down or clearance). Business starts to pick up around noon.
12pm to 1pm At this point I take a lunch break and when I come back I usually help guests with anything they need, from answering questions to ringing them up. Business is usually busy by this time of day so there is lots to do.

Yes I did. Just one interview with a background check done over the phone and I was hired.

Apply for the job. They would need experience in the craft/fabric area to get a supervisor job and it would be a plus to be knowledgeable in the area to get an associate job.

You would need to be a people person, since it is retail and you would definitely need need to know a little about crafts/fabric.
