Yes, that is a major part of my job. You have to deal with people in any job. Anyway, I find it fun. I would hate to have a job in which I am stuck in a little office without contact to the human world.

Social skills are definately important because it is a job that requires you to be extremely outgoing. Also, a good fashion sense because people often ask for advice on hairstyles, even though you may only be the hairstylist’s assistant.

Yes, it’s good if you have a background in cosmetology
What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
Be prepared for a demanding boss, but if you are like me and love the salon environment, then go for your dreams and have fun.
