i work for an painting company,painting industries,tanks,furnaces,and outside of buildings.The company employes about 25 people.

my duties at work are payroll,inventory,ordering supplies,answering phone,helping with quotes of new jobs.my responsibilities are making sure the employees get paid,making sure we have the paint ordered and ready for the jobs,getting prices on supplies and equipment we need for the jobs..

8am to 9am | i start checking schedule,making sure all supplies are ready for job,meeting with boss to go over new jobs,and what supplies we will need.going over any questions or problems with current customers… |
9am to 10am | coffee break ten minutes,back to work.answering phone ,checking e-mail,regular mail,ect… |
10am to 11am | making schedule for rain days,we need to have work on all days even if it rains.ordering paint from paint store. took call ,unhappy customer paint has peeled off of building need to get rep from paint store to go with me to evaluate job,determining cause of paint to peel…. |
11am to 12pm | left with paint rep to determine what problem was and how we are going to resolve this problem..talking to customer to reassure her of getting the problem fixed. |
12pm to 1pm | lunch break |
1pm to 2pm | more jobs comming in -need to make up price quote to see what the job will entale.. |
2pm to 3pm | still working on quotes…price on paint went up and we must reflect this on our price. |
3pm to 4pm | need to order lift. ours will not reach top of building that needs painted,need to order safty items,this company has different safety rules than we do at our site. still cant find a lift to rent.. nothing with long enough reach. |
4pm to 5pm | will be working late to get this quote finished.waiting for return phone calls from rental places,mostly out of town.. |
5pm to 6pm | finally returned home at 5:45p.m. very stressful day.back at it in morning. |
