Yes sometimes we have to deal with customers and I don’t mind it, alot of the customers we deal with a in the military, and they are great people.

We work all over the country, we can be in florida one day and the next day we can be 1200 miles away. likes is – we get to see the country, dislikes – we have to deal with traffic.

Yes I went to a community college for 10 weeks. Then I did 1 month hands on training.

Yes and no, you can learn the book information but I got most of my traingin hands on.

If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
You have to get a cdl first, second you would need 2 years over the road experience, you would also need to have a good driving record, a good back ground check, and be able to pass a government background check for a security clearance.

What skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a position like yours?
you would need driving skills, you would also need to know about bookeeping, and general business skills.

Do you feel that you need a certain level of education or training to be successful in your job?
yes – you would need professional driving skills

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
don’t do it, now is not a good time to get into the trucking industry, and especially if you plan on starting up your own business, the rates that we get have done down, and if one would start now they would have to work more for less money.
