referral – friend.

sent resume as attachment in email. was working for competition.

yes. 1 full day of interview – 3 rounds. technical, more technical and then with the manager and the rest of the team.
If you can remember, what questions were you asked during the interview?
programming and technical mostly.

yes. lots of training in the begining. it was a year before i was productive.

yes. 40 hours training every year. in the begining there was about 3 months of classroom and hands on training.

yes. right math skills.

don’t. all these jobs are going away to low cost regions.

good techincal skills – ability to qucikly debug and solve issues. develop plans to quickly mitigate. requires lot of tteam work – workingg with geographically disttributed teams across time zone. kiss your personal life god bye.
