I have my own company. Individuals who perform this work usually work for themselves as Independent Contractors to Businesses if they are non-governmental. There are currently 4 persons besides myself who work for me.
Describe your job role and responsibilities.
Each business entity should (and in a lot of cases must) have a developed plan of action in the event natural, man-made and business emergencies. Those plans of action include what to do in the event of an emergency, how to act, where to go, what resources are available and usable, when should the plan be put into action, exercising the plan, evaluating and re-writing plan, re-exercising over and over again and finally evaluating when and if the plan is put into action.

Most days I need to interact with a mirage of individuals from both government (GO) and non-goverment (NGO) organizations. Then there are those wonderful days when I am all by myself. This job has such variety that one could be a complete loner and still find plenty of work, mostly in designing and writing plans.
