Lots of schooling, and teaching yourself all you can about anything computer/networking related!

What skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a position like yours?
You must be able to set up 20k line scripts, and organize it to work properly. Be able to talk to co workers, and actually explain the issue you are having/fixing.

Keep your head into it, and don’t let the stress get to you!

Absolutely, I am working through the IT infrastructure to get to where I want to be 🙂

I would like to become specialized in more fields than just AIX/Bladecenters.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your career?
This is a great field if you can seem to wrap your head around all concepts/ideas, I have seen a lot of really talented and smart people come in these doors, and not be able to handle the stress or environment due to the constantly changing, and fast paced learning.
