Describe the type of organization you work for.
I am self-employed as a freelance textbook editor. I work on contract for a number of different textbook publishers. Formerly, I was a senior editor at a major publishing company.
Describe your job role and responsibilities.
I prepare new editions of textbooks, completing all necessary research, writing, and editing to prepare manuscript for bound book. I also write teacher materials and student materials for ancillaries such as workbooks and test booklets.
