Describe the type of organization you work for.
I work for a non-profit hospital in a small town in Northern cal. We have 110 inpatient beds.

Describe your job role and responsibilities.
I answer all incoming calls to the hospital; transferring callers to patient rooms or appropriate departments. I do the overhead paging for doctors and codes. I monitor the fire alarm panel, and various panic alarms. I also keep in contact with the Engineering and Security Depts.on the 2-way radios.

approx 26 days of (combined) vacation pay sick days. Major sick leave hours (accrues depending on hours worked and longevity) Blue Cross Medical benefits. VSP vision, and Delta dental. We have 3 chioces for 403(a) voluntary retirement benefit companies: Met Life, Travellers, and one other that I do not remember the name of. The company also has a retirement benefit that depends on your salary and number of years on the job.
