Yes. I have a Masters degree in Real Estate that greately helped me.

If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
My job entails that I am well educated and have professional designations. I would suggest that someone have a background in sales to excel at real estate brokerage. It would help to get a professional designation such as CCIM.

What skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a position like yours?
A person MUST be able to work well with others as well as those in the community in general. Mine is a service business and nothing can be better or worse than word of mouth on how you conduct your business.

Do you feel that you need a certain level of education or training to be successful in your job?
Yes. I have a Masters in Real Estate as well as professional designations as wel.

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
Get experience as quick as you can, as well as get educated. Without these items, it will be hard to be successful.
