5am to 6am | |
6am to 7am | |
7am to 8am | Pre-Open at 8:00 am. Turn on lights and fans, make coffee, clean up as needed, check messages and email, check equipment for damages, etc. |
8am to 9am | Turn “open” sign around. Welcome the first clients. Water plants. |
9am to 10am | Workout with clients, make notes in their fitness goal charts. |
10am to 11am | Wash towels, clean equipment. |
11am to 12pm | Lunch. I eat at the desk. |
12pm to 1pm | More clients, more workouts! Speak with fellow trainers about schedules, classes, etc. |
1pm to 2pm | At 2:00 PM on Saturdays, the gym closes for the weekend. I clean up, take out trash, leave notes as needed for trainers, lock up and leave. Weekdays, the gym is open until 8:00 pm. |
2pm to 3pm | Weekdays: greet incoming trainers, and then I leave. |
3pm to 4pm | Afternoon tainers Check mail and sort it as needed. Call clients who need to pay on their accounts. |

Yes, there was alot of training.

Yes, 30 day trial period at the gym, helping the trainers, cleaning, etc.

A degree in fitness is helpful, but not required. Be in shape, have a liking of people, know how to answer fitness related questions.
