You need a degree and/or the job experience, you can’t just go and get a project management job! Start off with an analyst job, learn the job and expand on the skills you learn in that position.

You need to be able to be well rounded, to hacve good people skills and be technical. You also need to be able to multi-task as you will often be working on multi projects with tight deadlines all at once!
