    secure office buildings for a large health insurance company, general security dutiues and basic customer service. i also do special projects like security for movie premires and special events like concerts and conventions.

    though it is not what i want to do, it is a good career for anyone. security offers all types of diffrent jobs and locations, and you can learn ALOT from working in this field.

7. A Day in the Life Of...

    start work at 7. breif with co-workers, deliver paper work from the previous day, update any paper work that needs to be done.
  • 8 am - 9 am

    check keys, escorts, general security duties and customer service, patrol basement of 2 buildings
  • 9 am - 10 am

    give other officers their breaks, take my break, do a patrol, customer service, check employee id's, unlock doors
  • 10 am - 11 am

    monitoring controlled access, monitor cameras, customer service and escorts
  • 11 am - 12 am

    relieve coworker for lunch, take my lunch break
  • 12 am - 1 pm

  • 1 pm - 2 pm

    patrol, give break to coworker, take my break, customer service, update more paperwork, monitor lobby and alarms

    monitor lobby, clean desk area, monitor the outgoing mail for the company i work for, customer service
