My team is a software development team. We develop interactive computer training applications, and interactive, electronic versions of technical manuals for equipment or systems that the Navy uses. I specifically do some programming/development, analyzing requirements of an individual project, and lots of testing of applications before they are delivered to our customers.

I serve on boards , commissions, organizations and work with community tasksboards to assist with systematic change for people with disabilities. I do presentations in the community to ensure education on workforce development for a person with disability. I provide training to one stop center staff and community agencies.

Smiling! Just kidding, but basically I am the front cashier and get to meet and greet everyone that comes into the zoo. I also answer phones and give out information regarding our memberships, birthday party packages, educational presentations and whatever other local assistance that is required.

Some of the things I do on my job is cross-sell and record check and cash transactions. I am responsible for opening and closing part of the branch along with my supervisors.

Information specialists answer questions from the public about many different subjects - from what agency to contact about a utility complaint to what they should do if they have an issue with a judge or if they need child support.
