I am responsible for the instruction of 20 first grade students. I have specific curriculum guidelines that must be covered for all students. I also have to supplement instruction. I teach all children finding their specific instructional level.

I teach 6 subjects a day, evaluating the progress of each child.

I teach all subjects to 9 and 10 year olds. I also have a webpage for my classroom and report grades online.

teach 3 8th grade/high school level math classes, mostly algebra. grade papers, plan lessons, meet with other teachers, contact parents as necessary.

Scheduling, hiring substitute teachers, accounts payable & receivable, parent/teacher contact, liaison with the district office, payroll

Develop curriculum in fine and performing arts for students grades K-8. Teach curriculum, and guide students in their art work. Hang artwork around the school. Direct school play.

I help international students with support as needed by the class teachers. I go into differnet classrooms throughout the day and give one on one attention to the students that need it.

• Assess student knowledge and skills at school entrance through review of assessments and data. • Assess specific student learning to be attained in relation to student learning needs and curriculum objectives. • Determine a sequence of learning experiences, utilizing District adopted instructional materials and appropriate supplementary materials • Develop and utilize written weekly plans as a basis of guiding daily instruction. • Use assessments as the basis for developing learning goals for all students. • Apply appropriate teaching strategies consistent with curriculum standards. • Apply all aspects of the California Standard for the Teaching Profession. • Assess and apply student data in developing curriculum goals. • Develop and communicate to students and parents the expectations regarding student achievement and behavior. • Make appropriate use of instructional time; maintain an appropriate learning environment and appropriate individual, class, and program records. • Communicate regularly to parents regarding student progress, utilizing means such as parent-teacher conferences, telephone calls, and written documents. • Listen to parent requests for information and assistance and respond through conferences, telephone conversations, and written communications. • Encourage parents to provide in-home educational support. • Improve teaching effectiveness by responding to performance evaluation recommendations and participating in required school and district sponsored in-service activities. • Maintain standards of professionalism and abide by the tenets of the State of California “Code of Ethics of the Teaching Profession.” • Participate in all Student Study Team meetings. • Participate in Back-to-School Nights, Open Houses, and other activities to communicate classroom goals to parents. Other Related Duties: • Attend appropriate in-service training, workshops, and meetings, as assigned, to keep informed of current practices and trends in education. • Provide first aid and CPR if needed.

teach computer skills to k-6 grade

I teach a few classes a week, help with homework, supervise snack time and free time.

I teach reading/comprehension strategies & writing skills to students who have failed to pass the English/Language Arts portion of the state graduation exam.

Create lessons, provide set up, gather materials and teach lessons

I teach music, I also write lesson plans and plan performances. My other duties include supervising students at breakfast and on the playground.

Registration of all new incoming children, assign them to classrooms. Daily Attendance of all students. Assist parents, children, and teachers. I am responsible for reporting of maintenance issues at the school site.

I teach reading and math to children who have difficulty learning

I am a Third grade Reading and Language Arts teacher. I follow the state established curriculum for the material to teach my students.
