I go over patient charts and change medication in accordance with treatment and changes in mental health.

 Provides substance abuse evaluation and screening, suicide assessment, counseling and related services including individual, family and group therapy, as well as crisis intervention and treatment planning.  Works collaboratively with community providers and support agencies in the community. Serves as a liaison with the community mental health agencies, regarding any medication management, treatment and stabilization.  Responds to emergency calls and provides crisis intervention services to clients and families as needed.  Prepares and maintains records and reports pertaining to mental health services.  Communicates information concerning resident progress to the Court, Probation Officer and Judges as needed.

I meet with students who have various disabilities and I determine what academic accommodations they can receive at the University. In order to do this I review medical documentation and psychoeducational assessments indicating what limitations they have as a result of their disability. I also do one-on-one and group counseling with the students throughout the academic year.

My title is developmental specialist. I do intakes, assessments, coordinate and provide services for children that are eligible for early intervention services.

I serve on boards , commissions, organizations and work with community tasksboards to assist with systematic change for people with disabilities. I do presentations in the community to ensure education on workforce development for a person with disability. I provide training to one stop center staff and community agencies.

I conduct baseline mental health assessments with individuals who have mutiple medical issues as well as mental health issues.

I do numerous public relations activities, volunteer services, coordinate tours of our facility, employee relations, and various other duties as assigned

I coordinate all aspects of the Annual Consumer Conference as well as coordinating and running events for task forces and committees within the Consumer Involvement program. I write articles for the Consumer's Voice newsletter and participate in various disability-related statewide events.

Provide addiction and mental health services through individual therapy sessions for clients. Provide case management for clients as needed. Develop treatment plan based on assessment of addiction and mental health diagnoses according to the DSM-IV-R. Lead mental health groups.

Personal care and individualized programming for people with developmental disabilities, in a day/workplace environment.
