The only part about my job that i dislike is when there are no breastfeeding appointments. My day can be pretty boring then. I work with the public, so i work with people daily.

I work in an office, it's a cross between a doctors office and a food stamp office. I travel between 4 different clinics so i get to drive often and get paid for it.

3. How should someone new to the workforce get a J-O-B like yours? |

If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
To work for WIC you must have been a wic client who only breastfeeds. If you are not a low income parent, it could be hard for you to get in as a Wic breastfeeding counselor.

skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a
position like yours? Please be specific and explain why (e.g., social
skills, organization skills, technical skills)
You must be very understanding about womens situations and their attitudes about breastfeeding.

Do you feel that you need a certain level of education or training to be successful in your job?
You must complete a 30 hour training.

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
Be careful not to be or sound judgemental about a womans decision to breastfeed
