Personality is the number one trait they are looking for - You have to be able to get along w/ your co-workers otherwise your trips will be miserable. You also have to be able to pass the training components of any airline. These are a series of written and oral tests. If you do not pass you will not be hired.

Just to pass that airline's specific training course (3-8 weeks).
