get a college degree and take an intern position

Patience, analytical ability, social skills (attorneys are uh, different), mathmatical skills, persistence, aggressiveness.

Four year degree or years of ojt is important. Some have non-credit training which is typically useful if cmbined with ojt.

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
Don't get too excited about the legal profession in general. It is NOT like TV, it can be boring and very routine.
