Yes, I work with the students, vendors, the owner & his instructors. I enjoy dealing with people everyday-there are so many interesting people in this world and each one contributes something interesting to my day.

My work location is a small office area in a martial arts school - I like working in it because it is in a small informal business, yet I can put my stamp on it with a few plants and posters. Due to my extensive office experience, I am able to suggest many ways for streamlining processes and improving documentation.

3. How should someone new to the workforce get a J-O-B like yours?

  If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?

They should go to business school or junior college and study word processing, bookkeeping, letter writing, and use of graphics programs. Without these skills, it would be difficult to perform all my daily duties.

Ability to get along well with others, strong math & accounting skills, computer & word processing, and letter-writing skills

  Do you feel that you need a certain level of education or training to be successful in your job?

Training on computers, word processing, accounting and grahics programs are essential for this position

  What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?

Take as many accounting, word processing and computer classes as you can-with those skills you can be successful in most any office position
