3. How should someone new to the workforce get a J-O-B like yours?

If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?

There are plenty of freelance sites out there. I would recommend Break Studios; they offer the best rates that I have found thus far. ODesk is good too, but the pay is awful.

What skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a position like yours? Please be specific and explain why (e.g., social skills, organization skills, technical skills)

They need to be very fluent in English as well as grammar. A person who wants to write for a living has to know how to put together a coherent sentence.

Do you feel that you need a certain level of education or training to be successful in your job?

A high school education and knowing how to use a dictionary and thesaurus are the most skills needed for this. Majoring in English helps a lot.

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?

Be prepared to sell yourself very short if you want to get or stay hired. No one wants to pay livable rates to creative professionals.
