Yes, I like to work with all different types of people, however, it can be frustrating dealing with so many different personalities.

I work all over the hospital, from pediatrics to chronic patients on a ventilator. I like being able to stay fresh and work in all different areas of the hospital. I dislike when I am stuck in one area for a while that I would rather not work in.

Need to go to respiratory therapy school

Need to be able to work well with others, have to be able to stomache blood, vomiting, etc., Need to have a good grasp on the sciences, critical thinking skills.

  What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?

Learn as much as you can from other people, stay out of hospital politics, take it one day at a time and one day you will just know exactly what to do when a situation arises.
