I work all over the hospital, from pediatrics to chronic patients on a ventilator. I like being able to stay fresh and work in all different areas of the hospital. I dislike when I am stuck in one area for a while that I would rather not work in.

Need to be able to work well with others, have to be able to stomache blood, vomiting, etc., Need to have a good grasp on the sciences, critical thinking skills.

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
Learn as much as you can from other people, stay out of hospital politics, take it one day at a time and one day you will just know exactly what to do when a situation arises.
