If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
You need a masters degree in library science. I would also recommend voluntary at a library to see if you like it.

Be willing to work for low wages, but get enjoyment out of helping people.

Yes and no, he have to have people skills.
