Sometimes it does and other times I am by myself writing reports- it just depends. It is only myself and my boss in my division in the office so we do closly work together. I enjoy working with others most of the time- I enjoy my job because I get to pick and choose most of the time, though we are small we all pitch in when necessary.

I work in an office building conviently clocatd in front of a Metro stop. I like the office itself, I feel that the outside of the building needs a face lift though. I do not like that it is only 10 miles away from my house and take 30- 45 minutes in traffice each way.

3. How should someone new to the workforce get a J-O-B like yours? |

If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
Don't give up! No, I would say join the prominante market research associations (AMA, QRCA, MRA) and utilize their resources as well as network with other members at events.

skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a
position like yours? Please be specific and explain why (e.g., social
skills, organization skills, technical skills)
They should be very organized, time oriented, patient, great attention to detail, great oral and written communication skills,ability to multi task in a high stress fast paced enviornment.

Do you feel that you need a certain level of education or training to be successful in your job?
Yes and no, anyone can learn how to do my job by being trained they do not HAVE to have a degree but a degree in marketing does give me the needed background information and skills.

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
Don't give up on your dream job, if you know what you want to do stickl to your guns. It is very rewarding to have fun at work but at the same time be a part of helping to make everyones lives easier/ better through conducting the research.
