Position Summary
Develop and implement effective recruiting and hiring procedures and practices that will result in attracting and retaining the highest qualified candidates for all positions. In addition, responsibilities include advising management team on hiring practices and procedures as well as Human Resources Management.
Responsibilities
• Develop recruitment strategies to proactively search for a diverse pool of candidates using various recruiting methods (internal, external, web-based, print media, job fairs, etc.).
• Screen and hire new employees for all departments company-wide including Engineering and Technical Development, Marketing and Product Management, Creative Services, Client Services, Sales and C-level executives.
• Partner with internal clients to understand the business and talent needs of each individual team.
• Effectively manage candidate experience through timely and clear communication, planning, organization, and follow through.
• Oversee on-boarding program which should include new hire orientations, new employee handbook review, training and “above and beyond” program.
• Create all documents pertaining to HR and Recruiting including job descriptions, job postings and organizational charts.
• Human Resources function includes management of TriNet, the company PEO which tracks benefits, payroll and PTO.
• Draft all offer letters, contractor agreements and all employee census forms.
• Manage all outside recruiting agencies and partnerships as well as recruiting budgets.
• Promote, manage, and modify as appropriate the internal candidate referral program for the highest impact.
• Plan and organize monthly staff meetings, holiday parties and events which include employees from HQ as well as satellite offices.
• Partner with immigration attorney to handle all matters pertaining to H1B Visa sponsorship as well as Green Card sponsorship procedures including all applications, audits and statements of work.
• Represent company at networking as well as college campus recruiting events.
• Ensure recruiting and hiring practices are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures in the pre-screening and post-employment process.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years experience recruiting, agency experience a plus.
• Human Resources experience from the corporate side a plus.
• Proven success simultaneously managing multiple projects- must be able to multi task.
• Ability to develop, manage and track budgets.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills mixed with proven execution experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work under extreme pressure on multiple projects for multiple clients.
• Strong computer skills is a must, basic HTML experience is a plus.

3. How should someone new to the workforce get a J-O-B like yours? |
|
If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
Well, this is a toughie. Over the years, recruiting has become big business...however, I fell into it by accident like many other recruiters do. I would recommend that this person really hone in on their interpersonal communication skills and decide whether or not they truly enjoy helping people and talking to people.

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
Sit back and enjoy the ride! Recruiting can be very stressful whether you're on the client side or the agency side. It's very gratifying knowing that you are making a direct impact on people's lives. Helping them find better, higher paying and more fulfilling jobs is an incredible feeling.
