I am a freelance writer. Typically, I work with a group of creative professionals that includes Graphic Designers, Flash Designers, Video Producers, and other writers.

Whether I'm working on a Marketing project or an instructional or training project, my responsibilities include: Assessing project goals, Identifying best media to meet goals, Writing project Treatment -- or a description of how I will present the content, Developing a delivery schedule, Interviewing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)& reviewing any content sources, Writing a script or Copy, Working with Designers or other creative professionals to develop "comps," or rough ideas of how we will design the project, Gaining client approval for a design comp, Completing the project and gaining client approval.

No. Writing is a very solitary profession. On most days, I work alone and I like it. But...I also enjoy working on projects that include other creative professionals -- such as Designers.
