I work for a real estate association. we provide education and certifications to real estate professional. In 2008 we are celebrating our 75th anniversary and are an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS.

I manage a membership staff of four. We process all applications for membership to our association. I am responsibile for annual budget od 6.6 million dollars of dues income. Also, I have governance responsibilities with the Membership & Credentialing Committee.

Yes. I must work daily with internal staff as well as with extenal members and vendors. I enjoy talking with and helping people so this is an aspect of my job that I enjoy.

Be an active listener and be open to learning from those that have been employed at the association for awhile. At the same time, bring your own style and personality to your postions. Be an honest hard worker.
