The company is 300 at Headqtrs in Chevy Chase and we do medical research nationwide. We are non-profit. Our drs and medical students do research in facilities we rent or own, at large universities and colleges/medical schools across the United States.

I direct the work of 3 individuals and ensure payments go out on schedule every week. I do statistical reporting and spend time speaking to vendors (hundreds of vendors) daily/weekly/monthly. I ensure that we get the medical supplies ordered, shipped without having an issue, provided our account standing is good with ALL of our vendors. I process hundreds of checks (non payroll - - think expense reports, travel, etc) on a weekly basis and have them special sorted and mailed to particular places at our over 50 sites in the country.

financially I am overly well-compensated monetarily but I feel undercompensated in other ways. (ie: mental/personally)

Yes it does and i do not like it b/c the 3 folks i work over are slackers and need to be constantly checked and reminded of deadlines and changes and issues.

Lots of A/P and bookkeeping experience. Attention to detail, great customer service skills, good attendance record, able to work in a stress-filled and deadline-feeling situation on a daily basis.

Organized and social, good interpersonal communications and written/verbal skills, good customer service and #'s skills, LOTS of attention to details.

training, yes. Education, no.
