• Coordinates calendars, travel schedules and travel arrangements for 9 real estate appraisers.
• Responsible for writing up proposals, invoices and all other letter or email correspondence.
• Communicates with external contacts to compile all documents necessary to complete each appraisal.
• Assists the appraisers by researching hotel, geographical and property assessment data.
• Edits and processes final reports before sending to clients.
• Manages all permits and licensing, as well as the Continuing Education needed to obtain a new license
or to keep a license current.

My job requires me to work with 9 appraiser and one other executive assistant on a daily basis. I also work with countless people each day over the phone. I enjoy dealing with people over the phone rather than in person but I get along with the people I work with.

If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
I would recommend that they use an online job search such as Careerbuilder or Monster.com. Another idea would be to go to a job placement agency such as Spherion.com.

I believe that you need at least a H.S. Diploma but training is key.

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
I would suggest that they get the best training possible. My line of work is fast pased and maybe the best thing is to take alot of notes so that you don't constantly have to keep going back to your supervisor to ask how to do something.
