Yes. I work on campus and so work with a wide variety of people on a regular basis. This includes students, administrators, other faculty, and the public. I love it. My days are not boring and I loe meeting new people.

If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
They could come up through campus administration. Alternately, a variety of management positions and a degree could get them a similar job.

Intense organizational skills, ability to think outside the box, work well with diverse populations, excellent oral and written communiction skills, outstanding computer proficiencies.

Do you feel that you need a certain level of education or training to be successful in your job?
In order to feel comfortable and be creditable to other faculty, yes. I think BA or BS is crucial, a Master's degree preferred.

Pay attention to campus politics. Pay close attention to details. Make contacts and network a lot.
