We are a marketing research group, and we conduct telephone interviews with households that have been chosen randomly. Trackers, however, work specifically with contracts--and usually know who the client is. ( who they're doing the survey for)

I will conduct telephone interviews with randomly selected households. Some will be open ended, and some will be close ended.

Yes, it entails working with others. i like it though, because it's a sense of community and we help eachother destress.

It's an office building with cubicle bays. I like it because there's enough space, and we're not seperated from eachother. Our supervisor supervises only 10 or 12 people at a time.

I found craigslist.com to be very helpful, as well as posting my resume up at monster.com

  What skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a position like yours? Please be specific and explain why (e.g., social skills, organization skills, technical skills)

A person should be able to type fairly fast, multi-task, as sometimes during an interview, you're typing verbatim responses. A person should be laid back and not take hang ups personally. They should be able to work well with others.

  Do you feel that you need a certain level of education or training to be successful in your job?

  What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?

To be patient and do their best, and don't be afraid to ask for help or extra training.
