3. How should someone new to the workforce get a J-O-B like yours? |

If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
I would want them to love children and be able to stay at home all the time. There is no lunch hour to run errands. I would tell them to get an early education degree.

organizational-because your day will go smoother. children like routines. high tolerance for constant change. Must be able to adapt to whatever the situation calls for. Must have good communication skills to communicate with the children and the parents. Must have good social skills to be able to teach the children social skills.

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
work in someone elses daycare for a while to make sure it is what you want to do. We spend a lot of time without adult conversations.
