Well, I work for Sears. It is a retail store but I work for them as a customer service representative-people call in to have their appliances worked on or they call in to get extended warranties on their appliances.

They would just have to have typing experience, there is not formal education required.

They should be a talkative person and not be easily intimidated and doesn't mind being yelled at or dealing with angry customers sometimes.

  Do you feel that you need a certain level of education or training to be successful in your job?

Nope.

  What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?

They better be ready to answer the phone all the time and deal with all types of customers.
