I handle sales presentations, marketing, business development and training. I have a sales force of 100 agents in 10 offices. On occasion I will handle personal transactions but the majority of my effort is spend in assisting my sales force close their deals.

Licensing of course. You have to have a desire to help people accomplish their personal and financial goals.

Social skills because that is where your business will come from. You always need to be networking to obtain new clients. Discipline is very important.

Yes. continuing education is very important.

This is a long term career path. The first few years are always the hardest as you develop your book of business.
