3. How should someone new to the workforce get a J-O-B like yours?

  If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?

Observe how others are doing this job, what changes need to be taken in the current project and see how the team deals with that. Volunteer to be a tester. Take a class in project management.

  What skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a position like yours? Please be specific and explain why (e.g., social skills, organization skills, technical skills)

Technical skills-learn how a computer works and why things are set up the way they are.Organizational skils-think about the details of how things get done. For example, we need tuna fish, can you get some? You need to know can size, brand, oil vs water, price, what store should you shop-close by, sale price, etc., time required, how it will be paid for, just to name a few things to take into consideration. A project is like that-someone gives you a general request and you have to flesh it out.Social skils- have to be able to work with others, take criticism, change plans without vile.

At least a college degree.

Be flexible, don't take challenges personnaly. Be open to new ideas and different ways of doing things.
