We have Pto which equates to about 21 days a year, Sick leave is accrued and used only for extended illness or surgery. I have health insurance and don't have 401k

3. How should someone new to the workforce get a J-O-B like yours? |

If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
They would need to get a phlebotomy license and get on with a good organization. Dr. offices generally don't pay phlebotomist well
|

People person, compassion, good feet and phlebotomy license.

Yes, there are so many different bolld draws and techniques. You definately need to be certified

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
Not to be scared. Confidence really matters. if the person you are sticking has faith in you that is half the battle. So many times patients assume that they are a "hard stick" when they are not. Make your patient believe you have been doing your job for years
