I meet with students who have various disabilities and I determine what academic accommodations they can receive at the University. In order to do this I review medical documentation and psychoeducational assessments indicating what limitations they have as a result of their disability. I also do one-on-one and group counseling with the students throughout the academic year.

Yes i have to collaborate with my coworkers on a daily basis. I enjoy it because it gives me the opportunity to give and receive feedback. Also, a coworker's perspective on a certain issue or their experience with a certain situation might help me better understand how to approach a situation.

Office on a University campus. I like it because it's centrally located to the hub of campus BUT I dislike it because it's smaller than the space we need so sometimes we'll have to use adjoining offices as temporary spaces for the services we provide students. I wish the space was larger so that our office wasn't disconnected at times.
