Start out in Retail Stores; most people who hold this position have worked in the field, typically as a Store or District Manager.

skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a

Social and Organizational skills are key. You need to be able to work with a variety of people, some who may have very different ideas than yours. Also, you have to be able to juggle multiple projects at once--each project will be at a different stage, and you have to hit all of your deadlines!
