One (main) point of contact and liason between artists, programmers, and client. Handle all scheduling, assignment of roles, management of staff, and assist in the creative development. You must be very detailed and an excellent multitasker who has to juggle numerous projects at once, all at different stages in the production cycle.

go to college, get a degree in business or communications. Do internships.

skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a

skills, organization skills, technical skills)
hands on - not afraid to do something they goes beyond their daily role. organized - must be able to keep all schedules in line because one miss deadline means you have failed with the project. Leader - you and the main liason between your production team, the client, and the artists. You must be able to handle the role of a leader and come up with solutions to problems. Multitasking - must be able to juggle numerous things at once and have an I can do anything attitude.

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
Always ask for more things to work on. If you're in an entry level position then put in the late hours and offer to help. Find a mentor within the company and learn what they do. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
