3. How should someone new to the workforce get a J-O-B like yours? |
|
If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
Get a job in a grocery store and learn some of what a grocery store is all about. Then learn where to find products by puting things back on the shelf that customers leave all over the store. If an opening comes available they usually hire from within to this position.

skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a
position like yours? Please be specific and explain why (e.g., social

You must be very detailed, everything must be done in an exact order and in a timely manner. You must be very accurate because you control consistant pricing. If the price is wrong it comes back to you, you must follow through by fixing it.

Not really, but it takes time to learn where everything is located which improves speed and accuracy!

Get your foot in the door and let them know that this job interests you and be patient.
