i book and create ads for all regional advertising, which includes new releases and artists on tour. I work in Sales and retail marketing with Large chains (Best Buy, Walmart,starbucks etc)as well as independent retailors, Digital marketing (itunes etc.)Distribution.

3. How should someone new to the workforce get a J-O-B like yours? |

If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
Finish college and get an internship. Small independent compaines perfer to hire and promote from within. I interned for almost 2 years before i was offered a job.The intership gave me an idea of what it would be like to work for this company. It was much easier to adjust to the new job, since i was already familiar with the company, its employees and what goes on.

Social skills, this job is all about communications, verbal, emails, phone calls. Organizational skills,i have may things that i do every day and every week that require heavy organization.
