apply at a company at a lower position. and work hard and show that you are dedicated and a leader and will do more than what's required of you and you will get promoted.

good communication skills, writing and verbal. good leadership and managerial skills. to be able to work with and lead a group of different ppl with different personalities. everything else can be learned.
