If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
Take drafting classes in college or elsewhere. Learn CAD programs.

What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?
Hang in there. It is tough at first because you may not know what exactly you are drawing. For example, when drawing a building you may not know what specific parts of the building you are drawing but it comes with experience on the job.
