I work for a major toy store chain, I was originally hired in to do the seasonal HR position, hiring the christmas staff. I stayed on afterwards as a customer service employee.

Yes, I am at the customer service desk. I am dealing with customer complaints and doing returns, exchanges, and answering phones. It's fine, don't mind it so much except at christmas!!

If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?
Go to the website and fill out online application. that's how they handle all their applications now which is alot easier than when I started.

Organizational skills definately to keep all paperwork organized. Social skills to work at service desk.
