Roughly 150 people work three different shifts.I work at a Petro 2 Shopping Center.It consists of a resteraunt,game room,laundry room,showers,store, and of course gas.

My duties consist of keeping the whole inside and outside clean,breaking up any fights that may occur, and or Making sure the waitress's do not get harrassed.

Truck Stop,I like that I am in a fast paced buisness.However,I do not like how some of the truckers are distasteful and not at all conservative.

3. How should someone new to the workforce get a J-O-B like yours?

  If someone wanted to go about getting a job similar to yours, what would you recommend for him or her to do?

I would recommend that they have a strong stomach and be prepared for anything.If you want to work in maintence and have weak stomach you will not make it where I work!

  What skills do you think a person should have if they want to pursue a position like yours? Please be specific and explain why (e.g., social skills, organization skills, technical skills)

Must beable to pick up heavy objects,must clean showers,do laundry,and of course break up any fights they may occur.

  Do you feel that you need a certain level of education or training to be successful in your job?

You must have some education in cleaning skills & some technology skills in order to fix the pumps.

  What advice would you give to someone who was about to start work in your position/ line of work?

I would recommend that you know what you are getting yourself into and you must really enjoy cleaning to like this form of work.
