Have a passion for working with people and a passion for assembly. Working with your hands and helping others is the key to being an assembler. A high school degree would also be helpful.

At least a high school education would be needed for success in my field.

Working hard and having that upbeat attitude will get you though most jobs, especially mine. It would be hard for someone with a negative outlook to be able to succeed as an assembler because of the work that you have to put in every day.
