Perhaps Frank Sinatra said it best: If you can make it here, you can make it anywhere. With that in mind, we’ve all imagined working at some of the Big Apple’s most famous institutions, be it interviewing megastars at MTV or working behind the scenes on Broadway. While some of us have found our calling elsewhere (cough, Refinery29), we went out and discovered five go-getters whose employment is the stuff of sixth-grade “when I grow up” dreams. And, of course, once we pinned them down, we asked them to spill their tips and tricks to getting the country’s most sought-after jobs. Check out their stories and prepare to feel inspired.
