TheCareerProject.org Celebrates 5 Years of Helping Students and Job Seekers Find Their Calling with a New Look, Features & Partnerships

New York, NY (PRWEB) September 19, 2012

The Career Project launches their new beta today with new features, look and registration process. Job seekers and students can now search through thousands of unique job profiles and contact any mentor for free through Facebook connect.

This is a departure as schools previously had to purchase access to the site for their students. Originally launched in 2007, founder Alicia Schwartz says “It is time for all students and job seekers to have the ability to directly connect with our mentors. Facebook connect and our new registration system allows us to maintain TheCareerProject.org’s integrity. We have had just about 3 million visits since our start and are excited to help millions more with our new user-friendly interface.”

New partnerships with CareerBliss.com and QuintStreet.com allows users to search for jobs and online college programs while on the site researching their various careers.

There is also a comprehensive Career Counselor Directory and a new Career Resource Directory for job seekers to better research their career paths.

“TheCareerProject.org is the ultimate one-stop-shop for career research. With thousands of unique job profiles we allow job seekers to obtain an honest understanding and portrayal of what it is like to really work in a particular career.”
