I take care of special needs children

I work with the SDC teacher. I go out to mainstream classes with the SDC students and offer support. I also work in the SDC classroom. I teach small groups math and language arts/reading. I assist with lesson plans. I assist the teacher with clearical work, including updating student files, copying, writing letters to parents, keeping journals, ect.

Go in to classrooms and support inclusion special ed students in a least restrictive environment for them. I work with 6th 7th and 8th grade, mostly in History and Science. I take all of their work and rewrite or adapt it to their particular learning level or learning style. I reteach concepts and make learning enchancement materials as well as reviews for tests and quizzes.

I am a self-contained Special Educator of Mild/Moderate students. My class size is of basically 10 students, but I have up to a total of 13 during various classes. My students range in age from 15 to 19 years. I teach English, Math, Science, History and Vocational Studies. I am also the Case Manager of my base 11 students.

I pick up their 4 children from school. When we get home I get them all snacks. After 30 minutes of down time I start by helping the youngest with her homework, then work my way up to helping the other kids by age. Once homework is done I supervise the children in cleaning their rooms. After cleaning rooms we sometimes do art, other times we play outside games, sometimes we swim. I make their dinner, set them down for dinner and they eat. Sometimes if its let I make sure they take their showers and I put them to bed. I give their parents full printed out reports of what each child had for homework, upcoming projects, what has been completed, and how much difficulty they had with completing each homework task.

Assist the special education teacher in teaching 5th adn 6th grade students with behavioral disorders

I am working with special education students in a regular classroom setting. I am responsiable for all of their academics

I am responsible for the care and well being of 8 3rd, 4th, and 5th special needs students. I am often responsible for one on one academic help as well.

I help students with special needs.

I am a personal assistant to a teenage student with epilepsy and a disorder that is on the autism spectrum. I help him with his classwork and any other needs he has (including custodial needs and feeding).

I am responsible for teaching students with disabilities some of the skills that they may not have grasped at earlier ages. (For example, simple math, multiiplication, reading skills, etc...)

Provide help in 3rd grade classrooms for students identified with a learning disability. Casemanager for 8 students but also assist other students in 3rd grade. Work with classroom teacher to provide accommodations, or changes in homework or tests along with giving individual assistance during class.

Plan and organize lessons for special education students. Test and write evaluations for students. Attend meetings discussing student education plans and test results. Maintain detailed records of student progress. Communicate frequently with parents. Attend staff development activities to increase my skills.

I plan and implement individual education plans for middle schoolers with moderate to severe disabilities. I teach, feed, toilet my students. I also have 5 paraprofessionals who help within my classroom. My student caseload for this year was 10 students.

I am responsible for a caseload of fourteen students with emotional behavioral disabilities. All of my students are in general education classrooms. I provide support and interventions to help them stay in their classes, and I teach a social skills class one period a day. I am responsible for all of the paperwork and legal expectations to provide my students with the services they have a right to.

I teach special education students in grades Kindergarten through 2. I follow county and state curriculum standards as well as following the goals set forth in each child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

I help students with disabilities increase learn on their independent educational level.
